Our founder, Tom Passero, noticed a gap in the care being provided to people with upper limb differences and remedied that by starting Handspring in 2012. With our proximity to the New York City region, we have access to excellent care teams and are able to see patients from throughout the region, country, and world. Despite our focus on upper limb prosthetics, we also treat patients with lower limb differences and those who need orthotic care through our sister company POA in the same location.
